FreightGuard creates a profitable fund for couriers by offering customers a Service Warranty. A nominal fee is charged per waybill to generate the fund income. In the event of your customer’s goods being lost or damaged, valid claims can be compensated up to an agreed limit.

South Africa was the birthplace of Freightguard in 1994 and the business continues to grow, delivering a new revenue stream for our clients as well as acting as a generic warranty offering within the industry that’s being adopted by more companies each year, quickly establishing itself as the market standard in Southern Africa.

Since its formation in 2018, the Freightguard European office has built programs ranging from small, local delivery firms up to the UKs largest logistics company. With a focus on service differentiation and enhanced client experience at the fore, Freightguard has designed, built, implemented and run compliant programs that enhance the profitability of our clients, delivering a new revenue stream traditionally lost to a third party. With experience within financial services, banking and finance as well as sales, Greg and Darren lead the delivery within Europe, supported by our colleagues in South Africa.
